Where has the time gone? I really did hope to post more thoughts about the upcoming election. Now it’s less than a week away and I still have a list of good intentions. Last week was historic – the worst week for the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) EVER. It closed last Friday with the largest one week percentage drop in its history. The S&P Index didn’t fair well either. It had its worst week since 1933. Worse yet, all of that happened AFTER third quarter broker statements went out showing gut wrenching year-to-date declines for most investors. This week hasn’t been very reassuring either. ’nuff said.
While I generally agreed with his sentiment, I felt the need to clarify. (In other words, NOT enough said.) So I responded with the following:
You’re right about Obama.
But McCain is the drooler. I’m guessing Palin is a spitter.
If we’re going to have a woman that high up, I want one that swallows or munches carpet. You know… someone who can commit.
